My wife and I stayed in this hotel in NOV 2024, and we were thoroughly happy with our decision to do so. It reminds me of a boutique hotel. The desk-service was excellent... Beds were comfortable... room was big... and everything worked as it should. It was interesting learning about the history of the hotel and all the notable people who stayed there over the many years it has been open. Location-wise, it was right-in-the middle of everything... right on and overlooking the main tourist blvd, La Rambla. There is a huge courtyard/square behind the hotel which has many different restaurants serving many different food choices, and this is where my wife and I ate most of the time... which was VERY convenient. Everything was within walking distance, and whenever we needed a taxi, the taxi stand was practically just across the street. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here.

This hotel is centrally located in Las Ramblas, is within easy waking distance of many restaurants and local attractions. The metro station was only a few minutes away.

The check-in process was pretty quick, we just had to pay the daily fee which was not included in our rate. The hotel is a bit outdated, but everything is kept very clean. I stayed in room 302, it was a good size with one double bed and a small twin bed. The bathroom has a blow dryer and they provide basic toiletries soap, toothbrush and toothpaste. My room had a nice size terrace with a small table and chairs, I really enjoyed having this outdoor place to myself. The breakfast provided included eggs, cereal, bread, fresh fruit and tortilla. The best part of our stay was the super friendly and helpful hotel staff. They were always ready with answers to all of our questions. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Barcelona.

We stayed here 1 - 5 June 25. The staff are extremely helpful, and the location of the hotel on La Rambla is perfect for exploring etc. Breakfast had good choices and the hot food was actually hot, unlike the 3 star hotel we stayed at in Athens immediately afterwards. The room while a little dated was clean light and airy. A nice touch was the 3 way multiplug adaptor by the dressing table. The only thing that could have improved the stay was coffee making facility in the room, although there was a lovely coffee shop and bakery next door!

Could not have found a better place for me and my wife, both in our 70s now and was in walking distance for every we wanted to do. Hotel was fine and very clean, staff were very friendly and could all speak English and also other languages. To think we were right on La Rambla was another bonus.

Great traditional hotel in a great location on La Ramblas.

Friendly welcome on arrival. The rooms are a good size, a little old fashioned, but that's the style of the hotel.

Bed was comfortable and the room had the essentials, although a kettle and some tea/coffee making stuff would be good.

Breakfast was fine. Good coffee machine, and good selection of pastries, ham and cheese.
